The Boys & Girls Club (BGC), an affiliate of the Family & Children's Center, has immediate openings for Program Assistants.  BGC mission is to enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.  Positions are available at the following Club sites:  Battell, Harrison, LaSalle, Liberty, Navarre, Sample St, Wilson.  

Program Assistants provide youth development programming designed to enhance the physical and social development for school age children.  Work directly with the children by implementing activities for character & leadership development; education & career development; health & life skills, the arts; and fitness & recreation. 

Successful candidates will have experience working with young people; prefer a college degree or working towards a college degree.  Excellent communication skills; the ability to lead groups of kids; and ability to work with a diverse population.  Hours are 2:30 pm  - 6:00/6:30 pm Monday- Friday.
